Dimitra Charamandas × Marcel Freymond
— A Coloured Blanket Over Invisible Things

A cycle of pictures by Marcel Freymond (*1983, Biel and Basel) is juxtaposed with the most recent works of Dimitra Charamandas (*1988, Solothurn and Athens): both groups of works examine the body and space in painting. Created in a close exchange with one another, the pictures jointly plumb physical existence and sensory experience. The works of the two artists thus pulsate synchronously one time, and another in alternation—and culminate in a melodious return to the foundations.
