Distant celestial spheres as a painted play of shapes: The comprehensive series of works by Monika Stalder (*1981, from Sumiswald, lives in Zurich) leads through a constant change of geometric constellations that at the same time evoke an enchanted cosmic space. In the balance between structural insights and lunar vistas, her site-specific paintings prove to be a search for the unfathomable - she finds depth in the minimalist surfaces.
