Where Have All the Flowers
— Xiyao Wang, Markus Kummer, Janet Mueller, Camille Lütjens, Talaya Schmid
Longing and risk: The exhibition “Where Have All the Flowers” explores our current emotional state and our need for stability and security in times of upheaval. It provides space for feelings of uncertainty, doubt, and quiet hope: ambivalent and deeply human. Through painting, sculpture, and textiles, the artists reflect on landscape as a subjective experience, forging and severing connections, and making movement visible in the immovable.
With Works of Xiyao Wang (*1992, Chongqing CN, Berlin DE), Markus Kummer (*1974, Zug, Zurich), Janet Mueller (*1975, former GDR, Zurich), Camille Lütjens (*2001, San Diego US, Zurich) and Talaya Schmid (*1983, Karlsruhe DE, Zurich).
