Michael Noser —
Sleeves too Long, Pants too Short

The key figures in the works on paper by Michael Noser (*1985, Winterthur) do not have to worry about sleeves and pants. Der Gehende (The Walking Man) again and again appears unclothed in the works—his steps as buoyant as the ductus of the ink drawings colored with gouache. With their sketch-like aesthetics, the works range from linear representationalism to stylized surfaces: etudes in fleet-footedness and poignant visualizations with mastery and charm.
